Everything was explained, organised and completed over the phone. I had spent the previous couple of days investigating life insurance and insurance companies run for cover, and some even kick you out (happened to us 2019), when they hear the word cancer. So with the funeral insurance, I'm covered when the inevitable happens and feel very reassured. None of the insurance companies I spoke to, recommended funeral insurance btw, my husband had signed up for funeral insurance with NZ Seniors earlier this year, so that's why I proceeded.

There are a number of outstanding features in your funeral cover 1. Fixed premium 2. 5% rebate every 5 years 3. Payment either insured amount or total premiums paid..whichever is larger. 4. Opt out at 85yrs option. 5. No premiums after 90yrs old 6. Including accidental death and accidental injuries in cover 7. Only 1 yr stand down on death payment 8. No form filling or medical check

The young man was an extremely good customer service person. He explained the company philosophy and ethos very well and I was very impressed with the ways in which the company cared for its clients. He also listened to my questions and replied to them fully and clearly He explained the fee structure well and i was able to take an affordable policy which will be a blessing to me.

Danielle was professional and efficient whilst still making the sale personal. She was a delight to deal with and always checked to make sure I had understood everything completely. Exceptional service from a young lady at the end of her shift, when some young ones would have a slight rush in the sale at the end of their day, Danielle sounded as if she was just starting her day. Danielle is an absolute asset to your company. I hope you appreciate her.

My name is CJ, I helped put this in place for my mother Faiaga. The person my mother and I dealt with is Teresa; she is very empathetic and very knowledgeable. I really liked how in the initial call she could relate to the "island" way and the mentality of losing a loved one, which made the conversation easier to have. Very patient with my mother and I; English is her 2nd language and with the use of a interpreter, really understood and liked the policy and it gave us peace of mind. Teresa is awesome! Also, very very very prompt! An enquiry was initiated through the website, and within 10min someone called me back! Super efficient!! Just one bit of feedback; it would be more convenient if the company had an interpreting service or staff that could translate instead of using a 3rd party. Although I had to pay to use an interpreting service, it was still necessary to have something in place for my mother because its such a great policy! Thank you so much for helping us out :)

Saff like Fern need to be acknowledged for their good work..it shows you appreciate the work they do. Due to Ferns good customer service I would recommend Senior NZ funeral cover to family and friends..
