The service given was pretty good although we had some communication problems at the beginning. Because I am hearing impaired and use two hearing aids, I have problems using a phone. Unfortunately everything had to be done over the phone & I could not understand every thing that was being said making it stressful at times. There must be more people like me (especially at this age bracket) so some changes to help people in this situation could be made.

I selected the $10,000 cover as the policy was able to incorporate any unexpected changes in personal circumstances until around the age of 80. The policy also includes some refund or bonus payout options which has given me relief that as a "single" person my death will not impact anyone else having to pay for it!

I was pleased with the rapid response from NZ Seniors and the staff member who responded to my phone call (Danielle) was excellent. At no time was I pressured to select any funeral cover option other than the one I thought best suited my purposes.

I dealt with Eaton. He was very patient and answered all my questions like no-one had never asked them before, but without being patronising. There was no hard sell, he just relied on his extensive product knowledge, and explained it all to me. I did also contact Cigna at the same time. This company called me a week later. Eaton called me the next day. If you have any sales incentives I would like to nominate Eaton. I would also appreciate it if you could pass this on to his Manager. Eaton is a huge asset to your company. Thanks Lee Binks
