Several days ago I enquired about funeral insurance and talked to a very pleasant lady about options. I accepted a quote for cover and supplied my details. I was advised that an Email would be forwarded to me immediately detailing my purchase. No Email was received so I am wondering about the credibility of this company and considering terminating this agreement.

I was always thinking about getting funeral insurance after a close brush with the Grim Reaper but never did much about it. Then someone at my work died and didn't have any insurance (at all) leaving her family to pay for her funeral which was in the region of $11k. I decided I didn't want that for my family, so I filled out the online form for a quote. About 20seconds later, I got a call and told that I could get $10k funeral insurance for about $10 per week (it was actually $10.21 or something like that). So, I signed up there and then on the phone and it was instant. The person I spoke with was friendly, I could understand what they were saying, and there was no legal jargon that I had to navigate. 10/10.

Sales rep was very easy to understand, and very engaging in the conversation with me. He was very attentive and listened when I spoke, too. He had a very caring attitude, and explained everything with ease. My experience with NZ Seniors has gotten off to a very good start....and I am covered for my funeral expenses now. When the call ended, I felt a huge relief just knowing I have made it possible for my daughter to give me the 'sending off' without the money factor burdening her.
