I thought the life insurance I signed up for was good until the documents arrived and I saw that it expires when I turn 85. It smacks of a scam, where people pay until they are 85 and then they no longer are covered. I will be telling all my friends not to take on this insurance.

Not as good as it could be. I thought the expiry date was when the payments would stop, not that the actual policy would expire. So your company takes money, but the 85-year-old misses out on a payout.
