The service is fine. On a lot of thought about my insurance with you and how it was worded to make New Zealander's think they were dealing with a New Zealand company, I have decided to cancel and take out a insurance policy with a company that is based in New Zealand.

The product offered is pretty good. Just the fact that your beneficiaries can get back all the premiums you have paid into the policy once you are gone is quite comforting. One never knows what their financial situation will be in the future. The ability to opt out at 85 and get back some money would be a help during tougher times when fixed incomes will not cover unexpected expenses.

A bit more expensive, but I like the benefit of being able to claim whichever is higher of your sum insured or premiums paid.

The agents were very thorough and clear in terms of disclosing all information that we needed to know. It just seemed a bit overkill as they told me "all calls are recorded and advice is general in nature and may not be suitable for your individual's needs" or whatever like 7 times in the conversation. I know you want to cover your ***** but it just dragged the whole process out.
