It's the minimum at the moment, with the option to increase it. I have far too many additional commitments at present. This is about to change then I will increase monthly payments.

Product knowledge, clarication, terms and conditions right down to the finest of fine print was relayed over the phone with confidence. I normally do not give bank details over the phone however, after reviewing the contract, waited a week and consulted with other company offers before confirmation.

The service given was pretty good although we had some communication problems at the beginning. Because I am hearing impaired and use two hearing aids, I have problems using a phone. Unfortunately everything had to be done over the phone & I could not understand every thing that was being said making it stressful at times. There must be more people like me (especially at this age bracket) so some changes to help people in this situation could be made.

I selected the $10,000 cover as the policy was able to incorporate any unexpected changes in personal circumstances until around the age of 80. The policy also includes some refund or bonus payout options which has given me relief that as a "single" person my death will not impact anyone else having to pay for it!

I was pleased with the rapid response from NZ Seniors and the staff member who responded to my phone call (Danielle) was excellent. At no time was I pressured to select any funeral cover option other than the one I thought best suited my purposes.

I'm sure it was less than seconds of me completing and submitting it,fantastic. The person we dealt with had a patient and understanding manor towards me and my wife, and being elderly we found that very relaxing. He was very thorough and made sure we understood everything he was explaining to us both. I let my wife continue to complete the transaction, she thought the whole service was 5 star!
